Girish here from Kitty Cat Heaven. I am a cat lover and my mission is to create the best information content for cat lovers in the world.
It is quite saddening to note that a lot of websites have low-quality information on cat nutrition. I decided to change the status quo by ensuring that all cat nutrition-related articles on my website are either vet-reviewed or vet authored.
After putting in hours of research, my editorial team, essentially vets and cat lovers, do their best to address the pain points of every cat owner by providing them with the best suggestions and recommendations on cat litter, cat accessories, tips, and guides.
I don’t qualify myself as a vet that can give you factual information on cat nutrition BUT I am a seasoned publisher who builds editorial teams and works with vets to review and approve high-quality informational content and that’s what I did with Kitty Cat Heaven.
I hope to succeed in this mission. If my site adds even a tiny bit of value to the cat owner, it made my day!
Dr. Iulia Mihai, Master’s degree in Pets Pathology and Ph.D. in Pets Cancer
Dr. Iulia Mihai is an important contributor, reviewer and approver of some of our technical cat food articles. She grew up with cats since she was little – basically all her life! Because she loves and appreciates animals so much, especially cats, she became a vet!
She graduated from the University of Agronomical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in 2012 in Romania and, since college she started volunteering in various veterinary clinics. She first volunteered at the faculty’s clinic in her 3rd year of study and continued to pursue her career in small animal pathology and laboratory.
She currently has two cats, five rats, and two African-clawed frogs!
She says that having pets comes with great responsibilities, but the satisfaction is commensurate!
Dr. Azijada Mulalic, DVM, Veterinary Medicine
As someone who has dedicated her life to helping animals, Dr. Azijada Mulalic plays an important role as an author for some of our cat food articles. Her first pet was a cat, so she wanted to become a vet from that moment onwards.
She graduated from the Veterinary Faculty, at the University of Sarajevo where she volunteered for 3 years at the clinic for surgery and internal diseases. In 2018, she received a scholarship from the Government of the People’s Republic of China for an exchange program.
She is currently a vet working at an animal clinic in her hometown and at part-time, she educates and shares information about animals to school kids.
Dr. Julie Kendrick, Veterinary Medicine
Julie Kendrick is a highly skilled veterinarian dedicated to providing the best care for animals. She has written extensively on feline health, nutrition, and behavior in national and international publications. She is also a frequent speaker at veterinary conferences, sharing her unique insights into caring for cats.
Julie’s passion for felines is evident in every article she writes–her knowledge of their needs and behavior makes her articles an invaluable source of information for pet owners.
